UNCLE EMMETT

He's got white hair, he's about 55 or 60, he's crazy, & he just showed up in my head one day riding a Harley Chopper with Apehangers.

I'm sure this strange gentleman comes from back in the day when I rode my good old Triumph 650 dirt bike up and down the coast of California on rte. 1, from L.A. to San Francisco & back ("pushin' it" thru a rainstorm, freezing and soaked to my bone marrow -- I was fairly crazy back then -- now I ride a bicycle & I'm much crazier).

Anyway, this old guy arrived full-blown as My Uncle Emmett: he even came with a history:

2 years before, he'd been a feisty, elder gentleman who trundled around all day on his 3-wheeled Harley-Davidson motorcycle working as a Parking Enforcement Officer for The Incorporated City of Petaluma, in Central California.

But, as he says: "I met a girl, I had an accident, I was put in an asylum, I met an outlaw biker named Bad Boy, & the rest is history".

He's loyal, righteous, brave, & true. He's also quite crazy. & he's definitely my favorite relative.

Yeah, my Uncle Emmett is this crazy, white-haired, elderly dude who roams the back roads & 2-lane black-tops of America on this funky old Chopper he calls "Bess", fighting Authority & helping Road Pilgrims while ranting about Injustice, Love, Venture Capital, Vitamin C, &/or whatever else he deems important at the moment.

He claims he's just doing his thing. As I said, he's my favorite relative (which is pretty good, considering everything is relative.) So, here can also be found all things Uncle Emmett: read, watch, & enjoy. Or not.
